Martúe Crianza (2021) is a Spanish red wine from Castilla La Mancha, known for its richness, freshness, and aging potential. The wine is produced from grapes harvested at peak maturity, fermented with native yeasts, and subjected to extended maceration, followed by 10 months of aging in French oak barrels.

Crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Syrah, the wine reflects the influence of limestone-rich, nutrient-poor soils and a continental climate that favors optimal grape ripening and polyphenol development. The result is a wine with fine tannins, elegance, and structure, balancing power with refinement.

Thanks to its balance of freshness, fine tannins, and depth, this wine pairs exceptionally well with red meats, aged cheeses, and rich dishes. It is best served between 15–20°C to fully express its complexity.

Braised short ribs: The wine’s structure and fine tannins complement the richness of slow-braised beef, enhancing savory flavors and creating a harmonious balance.

Cheese platter with aged cheddar: The wine’s freshness and tannic structure cut through the cheese’s richness, while its depth highlights the intensity of aged flavors.

Dark chocolate flourless cake: The wine’s elegant power and fine tannins pair surprisingly well with dark chocolate desserts, enhancing richness without overpowering sweetness.
